My Watchdog keeps shutting off power
It's doing its job. Find the code to see why.
Units with Emergency Power Off (EPO), also called auto shutoff, cut power when they see something unsafe. That doesn’t mean it’s broken, and it doesn’t mean you need a new surge module.
- Look at the display or the app for the code.
- Look it up in Error codes.
- Most faults clear after 90 seconds of safe power. For E3 E4 E8, fix the cause, then tap Restart in the app or turn the pedestal breaker off and on.
The app keeps a record of every shutoff: when, why and for how long. On Gen II and the Power Center, tap Alert History.
