Error codes on the display
What each code means, what to do, and whether power comes back on its own.
When there’s a problem, the dog face turns red and a code shows on the display. The app shows the same code with more detail.
Once the problem is fixed and power stays safe for 90 seconds, power comes back on. E3, E4 and E8 need you to tap Restart in the app, or turn the pedestal breaker off and on. E9 is the only code that doesn’t cut power.
| Code | What it means | What to do | Power comes back by itself? |
|---|---|---|---|
| E1 | Line 1 voltage error Park voltage went above 132V or below 104V. (Power Center: below 96V.) | Check volts in the app and tell the park. Power comes back after 90 seconds of safe voltage. | Yes, after 90 seconds |
| E2 | Line 2 voltage error 50A only Same as E1, on the second hot line. | Check volts in the app and tell the park. Power comes back after 90 seconds of safe voltage. | Yes, after 90 seconds |
| E3 | Line 1 overcurrent Your RV is drawing more amps than it's rated for. | Turn off a big appliance like the air conditioner. Then tap Restart in the app, or turn the pedestal breaker off and back on. Low voltage also raises amps. | No. Tap Restart in the app. |
| E4 | Line 2 overcurrent 50A only Same as E3, on the second hot line. | Turn off a big appliance. Then tap Restart in the app, or turn the pedestal breaker off and back on. | No. Tap Restart in the app. |
| E5 | Line 1 and neutral reversed The park has a hot wire and the neutral wire swapped. This can badly damage appliances. | Don't use this pedestal. Tell the park. Once it's fixed, power returns after 90 seconds. Some models need you to unplug the Watchdog and plug it back in. | Yes, after 90 seconds |
| E6 | Line 2 and neutral reversed 50A only Same as E5, on the second hot line. | Don't use this pedestal. Tell the park. Some models need you to unplug the Watchdog and plug it back in once it's fixed. | Yes, after 90 seconds |
| E7 | Missing ground There's no ground connection. You could get a serious shock. | Tell the park. On a generator, add a ground bonded neutral plug. Power returns 90 seconds after it's fixed. | Yes, after 90 seconds |
| E8 | Missing neutral at the coach The neutral is missing inside your RV, not at the park. Appliances can be damaged quickly. | See the E8 guide to find the cause. If both 50A legs have exactly the same load, it can also show E8: turn on a small fan to test. Then tap Restart in the app. | No. Tap Restart in the app. |
| E9 | Surge protection used up The surge module has absorbed all it can. The logo stays red. Your RV still has power but is no longer protected from surges. | Replace the surge module. Gen II and Power Center owners get one free in the first 2 years. | Power stays on |
| F1 | Line 1 frequency error Gen II and Power Center only The power isn't at the normal 60 Hz. Appliances may not work right and electronics can be damaged. | Tell the park, or check your generator. | Yes, after 90 seconds |
| F2 | Line 2 frequency error 50A only Gen II and Power Center only Same as F1, on the second hot line. | Tell the park, or check your generator. | Yes, after 90 seconds |
| F3 | Over temperature Power Center only The unit got too hot inside (over 165°F) and shut down to protect itself. | Shade the unit and turn off appliances you don't need. It restarts when it cools down. | Yes, after 90 seconds |
Gen II WiFi models without auto shutoff (PWD30W, PWD50W) show the same codes and alert you.
