50A RV on a 30A pedestal
Use a dog-bone adapter, and watch your amps in the app.
A standard dog-bone adapter splits the single 30A hot leg across both sides of your 50A RV’s panel. That works, but you still only have 30 amps to use.
- Your Watchdog won’t turn 30 amps into 50. Nothing can without dropping the voltage.
- Keep an eye on amps in the app and stay under 30.
- Use the Watchdog that matches your RV (50A RV, 50A Watchdog).
