Can I use it on a docked boat?
Surge protectors and voltage boosters: no. The SafeView inlet: yes.
It depends on the product.
Surge protectors: no. Power Watchdog surge protectors are designed and certified for RVs on land. Marine electrical code is different. A marine model is in design, with no release date yet.
Voltage boosters (Power Center, Autoformer): no. They’re designed for RVs.
SafeView inlet: yes. It was designed for RVs, but it can also be used on a boat. The SafeView isn’t a surge protector.
